Tournament Information:

Open divisions follow ITF rules.  All other divisions follow USTA rules.

Current USTA membership is required for all US players and must be shown at check-in.

Open division draws will be done Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00pm at the hotel.

Sign in deadline for open players is 4:00pm with Rocky Anders – Tournament Referee.

All other draws will be available April 16, 2008 at 12 noon on www.usta.com.

Play begins April 23 at 8:00am for all divisions except junior divisions.

Players must check in at tournament desk at least 30 minutes before scheduled match time.

All Quad players must be verified by the ITF.

 

 

Draw Sizes:

            Men’s Open Main:      16                   

Men’s Open Second:    8 (may be increased with ITF approval)

            Women and Quad Divisions have one extended main draw

Players, coaches and family members must state a roommate preference on entry form by March 26, 2009, or the tournament committee will assign one after the deadline.

 

The tournament committee will make reservations for Wednesday through Saturday nights.  Early arrival (i.e., Monday or Tuesday arrivals) or late checkout reservations must be made with the hotel directly and paid for by the player.  When making reservations ask for Cajun Classic rates.  Hotel will require a credit card at time of check-in from each room for incidentals.

 

 

Transportation:

Free transportation is available from the Baton Rouge Metro Airport to the Courtyard by Marriott for those players providing written requests with flight times to Marilu Major by April 1, 2009.  Transportation to and from the Baton Rouge Metro Airport will only be provided on Wednesday, April 22 and Sunday, April 26.  For those departing Monday, April 27 limited morning airport runs will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
